Terms & Conditions

The Stick or Twist promotion is available to Met Card holders only.
The promotion runs from 22 May to 25 June 2023 inclusively.
Every daily visit (6.00am – 5.59am) that is registered by a customer swiping their Met Card at Reception, is eligible for 1 draw ticket for the weekly draws.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure their Met Card is presented on every visit, as tickets cannot be issued retrospectively.
Participating casinos include: Alea Glasgow, Manchester235, Alea Nottingham, Rendezvous Brighton, Empire Casino and The Sportsman.
For all weekly £500 draws held in each of the participating casinos, members must be present at the time of the draw to win. Winners will be chosen randomly from the tombola and will have 2 minutes to claim the prize by producing their membership card. If the prize is not claimed within 2 minutes a re-draw will take place.
The Met Card holder’s name and membership number must be displayed on the entry ticket and verified for the member to be confirmed as a winner.
Only one prize per person per day is permitted.
The Promoter is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, misdirected, late, lost, damaged or stolen and these will not be replaced. Photocopies or reprints will not be accepted.

WEEKLY £500 DRAWS

Every Sunday at 8pm throughout the promotion (28 May and 4, 11, 18 June) each participating venue will conduct 2 prize draws per casino and entry tickets must be in the tombola 10 minutes before the draw.
Winners of these prize draws can choose to accept an instant cash prize of £500 (Stick) or exchange (Twist) for an entry into the Grand Draw to win £25,000 in cash.
The winner of the weekly draws must make the decision to Stick or Twist within 5 minutes of winning.
This decision is final and cannot be reversed once confirmed.
After each of the draw (28 May and 4, 11, 18 June) has taken place the draw tickets will be removed ready to collect entries for the next draw.

£25,000 DRAW

The draw will be made on Tuesday 20 June under closed draw conditions and the draw will be filmed.
Prior to the draw all the entries that have decided to Twist from each participating casino will be collated and entered into a Tombola.
The £25,000 Grand Draw will be broadcast on Sunday 25 June at 8pm across the participating casino simultaneously to announce the winner. The winner of the £25,000 must be present in the casino to claim their cash prize.
If the winner does not claim their prize, there will be no further draws and the money will not be won.

ACE AND KING STICK OR TWIST LEADER BOARD

Participating casinos include: Alea Glasgow, Manchester235, Alea Nottingham, Rendezvous Brighton, Empire Casino and The Sportsman.
During the promotional period, at participating casinos, Met Points earned by Ace and King Met Card holders will be collated into a Stick or Twist leader board.
Met Card Points can be earned through Gaming only.
The Ace or King Met Card holder earning the highest number of Met Card Points throughout the Stick or Twist promotion 22 May - 18 June will win one automatic entry into the National Grand Draw.
Customers must present their Met Card prior to playing on gaming tables for Met Points to be earned.
Met Points are automatically issued and cannot be issued retrospectively.
Each week, the top 5 players that have earned the most Met Points on Gaming will be displayed on a Leader Board at Reception
The winner will be on display for a week at Reception after the promotion ends.
Where table tracking is applicable, Metropolitan Gaming (MGUK) uses reasonable efforts to track a participant’s play; however, as a condition of receiving Met Points for table games play, or other non-electronic games, participants agree that such Met Points are granted based on the personal observation of MGUK employees. The determination of MGUK shall be final with respect to any discrepancies.
Normal Met Points and Stick or Twist promotional terms and conditions apply.
No cash alternative is available.
Met Points are not transferable and must be earned by the person named on the card in play.
The winner will be contacted on the 19 June via opted in contact permissions email, SMS or telephone, and will be automatically added to the final national draw.
If they are not opted into contact they have until 10am on Tuesday 20 June to review the Leader Board at Reception and claim their entry into the Grand Draw.

GENERAL TERMS

Participants agree to allow Metropolitan Gaming the unconditional use of their name and likeness (including photographs) for promotions/ advertising and announcements without compensation, consideration, notice, review, pre-approval, or additional consent, relating to the Stick or Twist promotion.
Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
Disregard or failure to meet any of any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.
