Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotion will run from Monday 13 March to Saturday 1 April 2023 and is only open to Met Card holders.
  2. Met Card holders can collect their daily free prize draw ticket at Reception, limited to one ticket per Met Card holder per day.
  3. Draws will take place on Saturday 25 March and 1 April 2023 at 8pm and entry tickets must be in the tombola 10 minutes before the draw.
  4. Members must be present at the time of the draw to enter the game. Player will be chosen randomly from the tombola and will have 2 minutes to produce their membership card. If the player is unable to produce their membership card within 2 minutes a re-draw will take place.
  5. The Met Card holder’s name and membership number must be displayed on the entry ticket and verified for the member to be confirmed as a winner.
  6. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, misdirected, late, lost, damaged or stolen and these will not be replaced. Photocopies or reprints will not be accepted.
  7. The tombola will be cleared after each draw.
  8. One winner will be drawn from the tombola and will go on to play the “Beat the Bank of Alea” game.
  9. There will be 16 boxes in the game which will each contain a cash prize ranging from £1 to £1,000.
  10. The participant must choose a box. This box will remain unopened with the participant until the end of the game.
  11. The participant must then choose another box which will be opened revealing the cash amount they have turned down.
  12. This is repeated with all boxes but, after every four boxes, the player will receive an offer from the designated Alea Bank Manager to buy their box for a certain amount of money. The player must then decide whether to accept the offer and leave the game with the cash prize offered by the designated Alea Bank Manager or continue playing by revealing more boxes.
  13. At the end of the game when there is only one box left to be opened (other than the player's box), the player can choose to swap their box for that one or keep their own one. The player will win the amount of money in the box they choose.
  14. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
  15. Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If you have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, then you will be entitled to participate in the promotion at the terms you entered it, (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained in these terms) and you will be entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
  17. Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  18. Disregard or failure to meet any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.
